MEXICAN CORN BREAD 
1/2 lb. browned hamburger meat
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 peppers
1 c. yellow corn meal
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 lb. grated cheese
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
2 eggs
1 can cream style corn
1/2 c. melted Crisco

Mix corn meal, salt and soda. Add milk, eggs, Crisco and corn. Beat well. Cook hamburger, onions and pepper. Grease a large skillet. Put half of corn bread mixture in skillet. Top that with the hamburger, then cheese. Then put rest of corn bread mixture in. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes, or more, until brown.
