MOM'S GERMAN FRUIT COOKIES 
1 c. (1/2 lb.) butter
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda in 1/2 c. warm water
1 box seedless raisins, cooked and drained dry on tea towel
1 c. chopped black walnuts
Approximately 3 c. flour

Cream butter and eggs. Add eggs and mix well. Add rest of ingredients mixing until well blended. Drop by spoons on cookie sheets. Bake in a 325 to 350 degree oven at least 10 minutes.
