CREME DE MINT BROWNIES 
Layer 1:

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, softened
4 eggs
1 c. flour
1 (16 oz.) can chocolate syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Layer 2:

2 c. confectioners sugar
6 tbsp. creme de mint
1/2 c.(1 stick) butter

Layer 3:

6 oz. pkg. semi sweet chocolate pieces
6 tbsp. butter

Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, place ingredients for layer 1. Mix on very low speed with electric mixer. Do not beat. Grease bottom of a 8 x 13 1/2-inch pan. Spread batter in pan and bake at 350°F for 20 to 25 minutes. Let cool.

In a large bowl, blend ingredients for layer 2 and spread over cake. Refrigerate to cool and set mint.

For layer 3, melt chocolate and butter together in a small saucepan over low heat and spread over the top of brownies. Return to refrigerator until ready to serve. Keep refrigerated.
