BLACKBERRY PIE 
3 c. fresh blackberries
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/8 tsp. salt
1 recipe plain pastry
1 tbsp. butter

Combine first 5 ingredients. Line pie pan with pastry; pour in filling and arrange strips of pastry over top in lattice design. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes, reduce heat to 350 degrees. Bake 30 minutes longer. Makes one 9-inch pie.
