BALSAMIC HONEY GLAZED PORK CHOPS
2 pork loin chops
olive oil
salt and pepper
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 tablespoon honey
1/2 cup balsamic vinaigrette dressing

Heat enough olive oil to lightly coat your frying pan. Heat oil on medium high heat. Crush the cloves of garlic and rub on pork chops both sides, add salt and pepper to taste. Add pork chops to the heated oil.

Brown pork chop on each side (about 2 minutes per side). Once browned, reduce heat to medium low. Add the balsamic vinaigrette and honey to the frying pan.

Coat the pork chop in the sauce and simmer for 10 min.

* If you really enjoy the flavour of balsamic vinaigrette, marinate the pork chops in it for 2 hours prior to cooking, and cover your pan when simmering

This recipe was wonderful. The meat turned out tender and very flavorful! The recipe is perfect but i love onions so i sautéed some and added them to the top!
My family loved it! Thanks

Is that Jilly the illusionist? Great recipe. I added lightly grilled onions, and one sliced granny smith apple. I also did it in the crockpot on low. It was great!

Great dish. I was surprised in the outcome very tasty, I simmered for 20 minutes instead of 10. Easy to prepare.

i loved the recipe ! It was easy and very savory. I had another idea from a previous review, to use pear slices. But i mixed all the ingredients in a food processor w/ a pear and poured it over a pre-stuffed pork chops (from trader joes) and baked it in the oven, put mushrooms covered for 30min. You gotta try this too.

Unbelievably good, restaurant quality meal in no time! I caramelized some vidalia onion first to add to the sauce while it simmered. The balsamic dressing I had on hand was a Fig Balsamic Vinagrette and was absolutely amazing...I recommend trying that to anyone who makes this recipe.

I must admit, I didn't follow the recipe exactly. I didn't have time to marinate; and I baked it all instead of cooking on the stove. However, it tasted really good anyway. Even my picky child ate an entire chop! I served it with au gratin potatoes and a green salad. Delicious!

Wonderful! I made this for my dad and brother today and they loved it. I paired it with asparagus tossed in salt/pepper/evoo and rice. The balsamic flavor didn't really stick but I only marinated about 2 hours. I didn't simmer though. They cooked really quickly.

My family loved it. I marinated it (great hint, by the way) and it was very zesty and sweet at the same time. Also, instead of plain honey I added habanero honey... It was awesome.
