WORLD'S BEST CHILI 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
2 lg. onion, diced
1 qt. tomatoes or tomato juice
3 cans kidney beans
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. sweet basil
1 tsp. cumin seed or 1/2 tsp. ground cumin

Brown ground beef and onion, drain excess fat. Add remaining ingredients and simmer uncovered for about 2 to 2 1/2 hours.

Long, slow cooking is the secret to blend flavors. Stir frequently to prevent sticking.

NOTE: Salt is not included, but it can be added if desired.
