CONVENT EGGS (BAKED EGGS) 
8 eggs
Salt and pepper
1/2 c. heavy cream
3 tbsp. butter
8 individual dishes or ramekins

Butter the dish and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Break each egg into a cup and slide it carefully into the chosen dish. Pour 1 tablespoon cream over each egg. Set the dish on a baking sheet and bake 7 minutes at 350 degrees until the whites are almost firm and the yolk is barely set.
