2 lbs. stew beef
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 can undiluted cream of mushroom soup
1 lg. can mushroom bits & pieces with liquid

Add all ingredients and mix in casserole with heavy lid. Cover and bake at 300 degrees for 3 hours WITHOUT lifting the lid. Serve over rice or noodles.
