CHICKEN DIVAN | |
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen asparagus 2 c. cooked chicken (3 to 4 breasts) 2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup 1 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing 1 tsp. lemon juice 1/4 tsp. curry powder 1/2 c. shredded sharp process American cheese 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs 1 tbsp. butter Cook asparagus as directed and drain. Arrange in greased 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2 inch baking dish. Place chicken on top. Combine soup, mayonnaise, lemon juice and curry powder; pour over chicken. Sprinkle with cheese. Combine bread crumbs and butter. Sprinkle over all. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Trim with pimento strips (optional). Serve over rice. |
