CHOCOLATE MALT BARS 
1/3 c. butter (softened)
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. instant malted milk powder
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. malted milk balls coarsely chopped
Quick Fudge Frosting (below)
1/3 c. malted milk balls - coarsely chopped - for top of frosting

In a large mixing bowl beat butter and sugar with an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add egg, malted milk powder, milk and vanilla. Beat for 2 to 3 minutes more until thoroughly combined.

In a small bowl stir together flour and baking powder. Mix on low speed, gradually add flour mixture to the sugar mixture, beating for 2 to 3 minutes until combined. Fold in the 1 cup milk balls.

Spread the mixture into a greased 9 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Toothpick inserted in center should come out clean. Frost cooled bars with Fudge Frosting and sprinkle with 1/3 cup milk balls.

Quick Fudge Frosting: In bowl combine 2 1/2 cups sifted powdered sugar and 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. Add 1/4 cup butter, 3 tablespoons boiling water and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Beat with electric mixer on low speed until combined for 1 minute on medium speed. Cool for 20 to 30 minutes or until spreadable.
