GREAT ONION RINGS 
1 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. paprika
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 egg yolks
2/3 c. beer
2 tbsp. melted butter
2 egg whites
3 lg. sweet onions, cut into rings

Sift together flour and seasonings. Beat egg yolks until light. Add beer and mix into dry ingredients. Stir only until blended. Then stir in butter. Let stand at room temperature 1 1/2 hours. Beat egg whites until stiff, not dry. fold into batter. Fry in hot fat 2 to 3 minutes. Turn to brown both sides. Drain on paper towels. These may be reheated at 400 degrees.
