BLONDIE COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Generously grease large rectangular baking pan. Melt butter and add brown sugar. Cook, stirring constantly for 30 seconds or until well blended. Cool slightly, add eggs.

Combine flour and baking powder and add to sugar mixture. Add vanilla and pecans. Bake about 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool and cut in squares.
