SWEET POTATO - PINEAPPLE
CASSEROLE
 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. water
1/3 c. butter
1 c. drained crushed pineapple
1 (23 oz.) can sweet potatoes

Combine sugar, salt and cornstarch in saucepan. Add water and boil for 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Add butter and pineapple. Pour over sweet potatoes placed in shallow baking dish. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Makes 8-10 servings.
