APPLE CHERRY CRISP 
1 can (21 oz.) cherry pie filling
1 med. baking apple, peeled, cored & thinly sliced
2 tsp. slivered lemon peel
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. quick cooking oats, uncooked
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
3 tbsp. butter
Sweetened whip cream OR ice cream

Lightly grease 10 x 6 inch baking dish. In medium bowl, combine pie filling, apple and lemon peel. Spoon into dish. In a small bowl, combine dry ingredients. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over filling mixture. Bake uncovered at 375 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
