HONEY - GLAZED SALMON
1 lb. fresh salmon fillets
2 tbsp. olive oil
1/4 c. honey
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tbsp. chili powder

Heat the oil in a skillet. Add the salmon and saute until nearly done. Meanwhile, mix the honey, garlic and chili powder. Just before the fish is done, pour honey mixture over it. It will bubble up in the olive oil and form a glaze you can spoon back over the fish. Serve at once. Serve with a slice of lime.

Perfect recipe and so simple. I followed this in general and the honey glaze was delicious. The chili powder doesn't add any kind of noticable flavor but rounds out the seasoning nicely topped with a little salt and some cracked pepper. Thanks!

I just tried this recipe out tonight. My fiance has never really enjoyed fish. She agreed to try some salmon I purchased and with this recipe she LOVED IT! thank you thank you for the suggestion. the glaze made a great twist. I used garlic powder and light season salt as an alternative to cloved garlic. I also sprinkled the end result with some fresh parsley. 4 and a half stars for this dish.

I have never written a comment in my life. However, this was amazing and my husband and I love it. I am making it again, for the third time since I found this, tonight.

I never cook fish - mainly because I'm bad at it. But I wanted to try cooking with honey, love salmon, and this looked easy. It's a great recipe. It IS really easy, really fast, & really tasty. Totally recommended!

This is a fabulous dish. I cooked 4 servings individually using this recipe. Each I tried a little differently. I recommend continually spooning the oil and honey glaze back over the fish. This helps cook the top of the fillet as well as marinade the fish.

I substituted pure maple syrup for honey. Try it. Delicious! In fact, try substituting maple syrup for honey in all recipes that call for it. Maple syrup is American honey, though it's more expensive.

This is the first time I have been able to get my children to eat salmon. They loved this recipe and so did my husband who also does not eat salmon. I highly recommend this dish. This is my fourth time making it and my mother-in-law asked for the recipe. I continue spooning the glaze over the salmon til it forms a candy like coating and I only cook the salmon medium on inside. The combination of fresh garlic, honey and chili powder is amazing. Enjoy.
