ITALIAN SPAGHETTI SAUCE FOR
SPAGHETTI
 
1 lb. ground beef or 1/2 lb. beef and 1/2 lb. ground pork, browned
1 sm. head garlic or 2 tsp.
2 cut up sm. onions
2 cans tomato paste
2 cans stewed tomatoes
1 c. water
1 bay leaf
Dash of allspice

Brown meat and onions. Combine other ingredients. Cook slowly 2 hours. Then cook spaghetti, do not break it up, in boiling water as directed on box. Pass grated cheese. Serves 6.
