OVERNIGHT PASTA SALAD | |
1 c. tiny shell macaroni 2 c. shredded lettuce 2 hard boiled eggs, sliced 2 (1 oz.) slices ham, cut up 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, thawed 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese 1/2 c. mayonnaise 1/4 c. sour cream 1 tbsp. chopped green onion 1 tsp. mustard (Gulden's) 1 tsp. hot sauce 1 tsp. paprika Cook macaroni according to package directions using 1 1/2 teaspoons salt. Drain well and rinse with cold water. Layer lettuce, macaroni, egg, ham, peas and cheese (in that order) in a 1 1/2 quart bowl. Combine next 5 ingredients and mix well. Spread mixture evenly over the top, sealing to edge of bowl. Sprinkle with paprika and parsley. Chill overnight. Toss together before serving. |
