POTATO SOUP 
8 slices bacon
2 c. cubed potatoes
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
1 3/4 c. milk
Salt and pepper to taste
Chives or parsley to taste
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. water

Saute bacon and onions; pour off fat. Add potatoes and water (simmer, covered about 5 minutes) until potatoes are done. Stir in soup, sour cream, and add milk and seasonings. Heat and don't boil. Serves 4.
