1/2 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1 yellow cake mix, set aside 2/3 cup pecans

Grease baking pan (9x13 inch) on sides and bottom. Combine cake mix and 1/2 stick butter with 1 egg. Mix these until crumbly. Press this mixture in greased pan and bake for 15-20 minutes in 375 degree oven until golden brown.

Combine all other ingredients (including 2/3 cup of yellow cake mix) and pour over crust as filling. Sprinkle with some pecan meats. Return to oven and bake 30-35 minutes at 375 degrees. Cool and cut into bars.
