TWINKIE CAKE 
1 pkg. yellow cake mix

Mix and bake according to directions for 9x13 inch pan. Use greased pan.

TWINKIE FILLING:

5 tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. Crisco
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Cook flour and milk in pan. Stir constantly. Cook until thick. Cool. Mix sugar, salt, Crisco, butter, and vanilla. Beat until fluffy. Add cooled mixture and beat until fluffy. Remove cake from pan when cooled. Slice cake into 2 layers. Place one layer on plate, spread on filling. Put other layer on top.
