HARVARD BEETS 
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. apple cider vinegar
1/4 c. water
12 cooked beets, cubed

Boil everything, except beets, for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in beets and let stand. Reheat with a dab of butter to serve.
