CLAM CHOWDER 
2 tbsp. butter
diced onion
1 can minced clam
2 cans New England clam chowder
2 cans cream of potato soup
1 can evaporated milk
salt and pepper to taste

In microwave-safe dish with lid, melt butter and onion. Sauté onion 2 to 3 minutes (time differs per microwave). Add the remaining ingredients and return to microwave and cook 20 minutes, stirring twice. Serve.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
