GINGERBREAD PUDDING 
2 c. half & half
1/2 loaf French bread
1/4 tsp. mace
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. molasses
6 eggs
2 c. half & half
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. rum
1 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter
1 c. raisins
1 c. pecans
Apple slices

Pour 2 cups half & half over French bread in pan. Add spices. Blend soda with molasses. Pour over bread mixture. Beat together eggs, 2 cups half & half, vanilla and rum, if desired. Pour over bread mixture.

Mix together brown sugar, butter, raisins, and pecans. Add to bread mixture. Put apple slices on top and bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Serve with ice cream on top, if desired.
