CHEESE SQUARES 
Crust:

1/3 c. butter
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. flour

Filling:

1/4 c. sugar
8 oz. cream cheese
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. lemon
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine crust ingredients and mix well into crumbs. Reserve 1/2 cup crust mix for topping. Press remaining crust mixture into a 9x9 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Combine filling ingredients and pour over baked crust. Sprinkle reserved crumbs on top and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cut into squares when cooled.
