LAYERED OVERNIGHT SALAD 
1 small head lettuce
4 small tomatoes
1 c. green onion
1/2 c. bell pepper
1/2 to 3/4 c. celery

Layer and sprinkle with 1 tbsp. sugar.

5 hard boiled eggs (chopped)
Salt and pepper
1 lb. bacon (fried crisp and crumbled)
1 can green peas (drained)
1/2 to 3/4 c. Miracle Whip
1/2 to 3/4 c. Mayonnaise

Seal top of salad with this mixture. Cover tightly and refrigerate overnight. Sprinkle top with grated milk cheddar cheese. (About 6 ounces).
