BROWNIE PIE 
3 egg whites
Dash of salt
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. fine chocolate wafer crumbs
1/2 c. walnuts
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Sweetened cream, whipped

Beat egg whites and salt until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff peaks form.

Fold in crumbs, nuts, and vanilla. Spread evenly in lightly buttered 9 inch pie plate.

Bake in slow oven, 325 degrees, about 35 minutes. Cool thoroughly and spread with whipped cream. Top with shaved unsweetened chocolate and chill 3 to 4 hours.
