VANILLA BUTTERNUT POUND CAKE 
3 c. sugar
3 c. flour
5 lg. eggs
2/3 c. canned evaporated milk
1/3 c. water
2 sticks butter, softened
1/2 c. Crisco
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla nut and butter flavoring

DO NOT PREHEAT OVEN. Grease and flour tube pan or bundt pan.

Combine milk and water. Cream sugar, shortening and salt. Add eggs one at a time. Add flour alternately with milk. Fold in flavoring by hand. Pour into prepared pan.

Put pan in oven and turn on to 325 degrees. Bake 1 hour and 45 minutes. Do not open oven while baking. When done remove from pan immediately.
