BRANDY'S MEATLOAF | |
2 lbs. hamburger meat 1 lb. regular sausage 2 eggs 1/2 tube of crackers 1 bell pepper 1 onion ketchup honey brown sugar Mix together hamburger and sausage very well. Add eggs, and crush crackers into fine pieces and mix in. Add diced onion and bell pepper. Add enough ketchup to throughly 'wet' all ingredients. Add 3 tbs. honey. Mix all ingredients very well making sure everything is incorporated evenly. For topping: Mix Brown Sugar, Ketchup, Mustard and 'Plenty' of honey place over top of loaf. (I don't measure any of these ingredients, just add to your taste). Cook at 350 for 2 hours. Due to the content of sausage you may need to drain off during cooking process. This is a wonderful aromatic addition to the meatloaf mom used to make. Submitted by: Brandy Don |
