EASY PECAN PIE BARS 
1 box yellow cake mix (take out 2/3 c. of the cake mix and set aside)
4 eggs
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
1/2 c. light brown sugar
1 1/4 c. light corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans

For crust: Mix together remaining cake mix, 1 egg, 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter. Press into greased 9x13-inch pan.

Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350°F. While this is baking, mix 2/3 c. cake mix, brown sugar, corn syrup, vanilla, 3 eggs and pecans. Pour this mixture over the baked crust and bake for 30 to 35 minutes at 350°F. Cut into bars.
