KATHY'S PECAN PIE BARS 
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
3 tbsp. brown sugar
2 eggs
3/4 c. chopped pecans
2 tbsp. butter, melted

Combine flour and 3 tablespoons of brown sugar. Cut in 1/2 cup of butter for a coarse crumb consistency. Pat into an ungreased 11 x 7 pan.

Bake at 375°F for 20 minutes.

With fork, beat eggs. Then stir in 1/2 cup brown sugar, pecans, vanilla and 2 tablespoons melted butter. Pour mixture over baked crust, spreading evenly.

Bake 20 to 25 minutes until set. Cool and cut into 24 bars. Chill to serve.
