SWEET POTATO BISCUITS 
1 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. shortening
1 c. sweet potatoes, cooked & mashed
3 tbsp. milk

Sift together dry ingredients; cut in shortening. Add potatoes and add enough milk to make a soft dough. Knead lightly. Roll to 1/2" thickness. Cut into rounds and place on baking sheet. Bake in a preheated 425 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
