PEANUT BUTTER BREAD 
TOPPING:

2 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. brown sugar
1 c. crushed peanuts
1 tbsp. water

Mix above together and set aside.

BATTER:

2 tbsp. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. peanut butter
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Grease bottom of loaf pan, spread topping mixture over bottom of pan. Make batter. Mix butter, brown sugar, egg and peanut butter. Add milk gradually. Stir dry ingredients and add to mixture. Pour batter over topping mixture in loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Cool upside down on rack. Yield: 1 loaf.
