PORT MARINATED VENISON STEAKS 
Put venison steaks into 1/2 the depth of a 2 gallon stone crock and distribute 1 pound of brown sugar between steaks. Fill crock with port wine.

Let stand for 24 hours. Remove steaks and broil or cook on grill or fry. Steaks should not remain in marinate more than 24 hours. This also can be used on any type of big game steak.
