MOSTACCIOLI BAKE | |
1 (16 oz.) pkg. mostaccioli or ziti 1 lb. ground beef 15-16 oz. container Ricotta or sm. curd cottage cheese 3 eggs, slightly beaten 3/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 (15 oz.) jars spaghetti sauce 1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded Mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese Cook pasta and drain. Fry ground beef until done, drain. Stir in Ricotta or cottage cheese, eggs, seasonings, half of spaghetti sauce and about 3/4 of shredded cheese. Add pasta and stir to coat well. Spoon into 13x9 inch baking dish (or 2 smaller ones if you wish to freeze one). Pour other jar of sauce over top and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes until hot and bubbly all through. |
