CARAMEL POPCORN | |
2/3 c. sugar 1/2 c. butter 1/4 c. light corn syrup 1/2 tsp. vanilla 4 c. popped corn 2/3 c. toasted pecans 1/3 c. toasted almonds Combine and bring to boil over medium heat sugar, butter, corn syrup and vanilla stirring constantly. Continue boiling, stirring occasionally 10 to 15 minutes or until mixture turns caramel colored 300 degrees. Pour syrup over corn and nuts which are spread over buttered baking sheet. When cool store in covered containers. Makes 1 pound. |
