CORN BREAD PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 can tomato soup
1 c. corn
1/2 c. green pepper
1 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. pepper

TOPPING:

3/4 c. corn meal
1 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. flour

Brown onion and ground beef together. Add next 7 ingredients. Simmer for 20 minutes. Combine topping ingredients, stir lightly and fold in 1 tablespoon fat. Pour over top of the first mixture in casserole. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
