CORN BREAD/SAUSAGE PIE 
1 lb. sausage
1 pkg. corn muffin mix
2 c. sliced apples
1/4 c. sugar

Fry the sausage and break into pieces; drain. Prepare muffin mix according to package directions; then add cooked sausage to muffin mixture. Pour into greased 9-inch cake pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.

Then cook apples, canned or fresh, with sugar until brown and soft. Then spread on top of pie and serve hot with syrup.
