BEEF & CABBAGE SCALLOP 
1 lb. ground beef
2 tbsp. oil
1/2 c. chopped onions
1 c. chopped celery
1 1/2 c. stewed tomatoes
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste
4-5 c. shredded cabbage
1 c. bread crumbs

Brown beef in oil. Add onions and celery; cook 5 minutes. Add tomatoes and tomato sauce, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Then alternate layers of shredded cabbage and meat mixture in a flat baking dish. Top with the bread crumbs. Bake at 375 degrees for 40-50 minutes. Serves 6.
