CAULIFLOWER CASSEROLE | |
1 1/2 c. white sauce 1 lb. cauliflower 1/4 tsp. seasoned salt Bread crumbs 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese Paprika Cut cauliflower into 3/4" pieces. Stir into hot white sauce. Add salt. Simmer stirring occasionally until tender, 12 minutes. Pour into baking dish and top with bread crumbs and cheese. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Serves 6. WHITE SAUCE: 2 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. flour 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. milk Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. Blend in flour, salt and dash pepper. Add milk all at once. Cook quickly, stirring occasionally until mixture thickens and bubbles. |
