PASTY 
3/4 c. round steak, cut in cubes
1/4 c. lean pork steak, cut in cubes
1 c. cubed potatoes
1/4 c. chopped onions
1/4 c. chopped carrots
1/4 c. chopped rutabagas
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. butter

Mix above ingredients. Roll out pasty dough. Place ingredients on dough, add butter and seal dough. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes or until brown and done.

PASTY CRUST:

3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. Crisco
1/2 c. cold water, add 1 egg
1 tsp. vinegar

Mix well. Divide into four. Freezes very well. Also good pie crust.
