CRANBERRY GEL SALAD 
1 (1 lb.) can whole berry cranberry sauce
1 c. boiling water
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. diced apple
1 sm. can mandarin oranges
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. mayo
1/4 c. sour cream
1/2 c. walnuts

Melt cranberry sauce over medium heat. Mix together with water and Jello. Stir until gelatin is dissolved. Add lemon juice and salt. Chill until mixture mounds slightly on spoon. Add mayo and sour cream. Beat until smooth. Fold in apples, nuts and oranges. Pour into mold. Chill overnight.
