1 c. shortening
1 c. white sugar
3 eggs
1 c. molasses
1 c. cold coffee
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 1/2 c. flour (whole wheat & white)
1 c. raisins
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cloves

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and molasses. Mix flour, soda and spices and add alternately with the cold coffee. Add raisins. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
