DUTCH APPLE SQUARES 
1 pkg. Pillsbury Plus applesauce spice cake mix
1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 egg
2 apples, cored, peeled and sliced

FILLING:

1 can Pillsbury Ready to Spread vanilla frosting supreme
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 eggs

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 13 by 9 pan. In large bowl, combine cake mix, cracker crumbs, nuts and butter at low speed until crumbly. Reserve 1 cup for topping. Blend egg into remaining crumb mixture; press in prepared pan. Arrange apple slices over base.

In large bowl, combine frosting, cream cheese and eggs; beat at high speed until smooth and creamy. Pour apple slices. Sprinkle reserved crumbs over filling.

Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes or until firm when pan is lightly shaken. Cool completely. Store in refrigerator.
