LEMON GLAZE CAKE 
CAKE:

1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
3 c. sifted cake flour
3/4 c. milk
6 stiffly beaten egg whites

ICING:

6 egg yolks
1 c. sugar
1 stick butter
Juice & rind of 2-3 lemons

Beat together the butter and sugar. Then add the baking powder and flour alternated with milk. Add egg whites. Bake in 350 degree oven until done.

Icing: Mix sugar and egg yolk. Add butter and juice. Then cook over double boiler until mixture thickens. Ice cake and enjoy.
