SPICED ROUND STEAK 
1 1/2 lbs. top round steak
1 tbsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. celery seeds
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. rosemary
2 tbsp. white wine vinegar
1/4 c. water
1 sm. onion, sliced

Season meat with salt and pepper. Brown meat on both sides in hot butter in a heavy fry pan. Add remaining ingredients; cover tightly and simmer over low heat approximately 1 1/2 hours, until tender.
