ENGLISH TOFFEE 
2 c. sugar
2 sticks butter (do not substitute)
2 c. sliced almonds
10 sm. plain Hershey bars

Into heavy skillet put butter and sugar and cook over high heat until caramelized. Spread heavily with butter a 9x10 inch pan and cover with nuts. Pour the caramelized mixture over the nuts and cover with Hershey bars. Place in a 250 degree oven just long enough to melt chocolate. When toffee cools break into pieces.
