GLACE LACE COOKIES | |
1/2 c. softened butter 2 c. dark brown sugar 2 eggs 3/4 c. flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt Cream butter and sugar together, beat in eggs one at a time. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt. Use foil (buttered) as your baking pan. Drop 1/2 teaspoon of dough, for each cookie, 2 inches apart or farther on foil. Bake at 400 degrees, 4 to 5 minutes. (Have several pieces of foil ready to use.) If cookies stick to foil, bake slightly longer. Remove from foil when cool. May roll into a cylinder if rolled when slightly warm. Makes 18 dozen. |
