BUTTERSCOTCH LACE COOKIES 
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch morsels
2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. rolled oats

Sift together and set aside flour, salt and baking powder. Grind up (using mouli grater), butterscotch morsels. Blend with the butter, sugar and vanilla. Add and beat well the eggs. Add the rolled oats, flour mixture and butterscotch morsels.

Shape on waxed paper into four 12 inch rolls, 1 1/2 inches in diameter. (Dough will be soft.) Roll up. Chill thoroughly. Cut into 1/4 inch slices. Place on greased cookie sheets 2 inches apart. Allow to cool slightly before removing to racks. Bake at 350 degrees 8-10 minutes. Dough can be frozen and used later.
