BARBECUE HERB MEATLOAF 
1/2 c. barbecue sauce, divided
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
1/3 c. finely chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green bell pepper
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp. each: chopped fresh parsley & chopped fresh basil
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 tsp. each: dried thyme leaves & salt
1/4 tsp. coarse ground pepper

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix 1/4 cup barbecue sauce with all remaining ingredients. Shape into 7 x 3 inch loaf in 10 x 6 inch baking dish. Top with remaining barbecue sauce. Bake 45 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing. Makes 6 servings.
