FROSTED BANANA BARS 
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. mashed bananas

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, sour cream and vanilla. Combine flour, soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in bananas. Spread in a greased 15 x 10 x 1-inch pan.

Bake at 350°F for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool in bowl.

Frosting:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. butter, softened or butter
2 tsp. vanilla extract
3 to 4 c. confectioners sugar

Beat cream cheese, butter and vanilla extract. Gradually beat in enough sugar to achieve desired consistency. Frost. Store in refrigerator.

Yields 3 to 4 dozen.
